Rainy days can still be the best days…
Even though the forecast hardly ever budged, Cassie and Jordan both were as positive as can be. And for good reason, at that! Back in 2020, I know it seems like a lifetime ago, these two had began planning the perfect wedding, but unfortunately plans came to a halt when restrictions surfaced to stop the spread of Covid-19. Despite all that, Jordan and Cassie still were eager to get married and eloped privately.
Fast forward to 2 years later and they were finally able to gather all their closest family and friends to celebrate! I loved the concept of their day as it had extra special meaning. They had their reception on their 2 year wedding anniversary and surprised all their family and friends with the news that today was in fact their anniversary!
While the day was not necessarily traditional, it was important for Cassie and Jordan to include some special activities. They still shared a beautiful and emotional first look and instead of a ceremony they read each other special vows and created a memory/time capsule box for them to open up in the future. It was such a perfect way to celebrate their marriage.
I’m happy to say the rain never stopped us and we made the most of the day when we could, because these two deserved that!
And as they say, it’s a sign of good luck when it rains on your wedding day!

Such a beautiful union celebrated….FINALLY! We love you both and are so happy you had your moment, your way. Everything was delightful, delicious and perfect. I would say the night went off without a hitch. ❤️
Cedar and Lace made a very chilly day feel as warm and as special as the couple. Thank you for capturing the memories beautifully.
Thank you Katie for your kind words! Cassie and Jordan were the absolute best to work with!
Thank you so much! What a beautiful post! It was a windy, chilly, rainy day and there were two introverts behind the camera, but we glowed. Thank you for immortalizing our day!
You are so welcome! I enjoyed it so much!
Great pictures! Looks like a perfect wedding to me!
